Group Class Overview
All ages and skill levels are welcome! Students earn certificates for their hard work, and develop and area of specialization in coding, game design, or robotics. Join any time!
Age 5-6
A fun introduction to Minecraft for beginners age 5-6, this class focuses on basic navigation, creativity, and collaboration. Kids learn to use a computer, mouse, and keyboard by exploring educational Minecraft worlds while building structures and learning simple design logic.
Perfect for first-time tech users age 5-6, this class builds foundational computer and coding skills in a fun and supportive environment. Through Scratch Jr and other applications, students take their first steps into coding, learning how to confidently use a mouse and keyboard, navigate a PC, and other core computer skills along the way.
Age 6-8
Students ages 6-8 take their Minecraft skills further with guided building challenges that involve logic, design, and collaboration. Through “Redstone,” students practice in-game problem solving and world-building with clear learning goals that helps build an engineering mindset.
This fun coding class teaches children ages 6-8 to build games, animations, and more using Scratch’s drag-and-drop blocks. Students learn basic programming logic like loops, events, and conditionals in a playful environment.
Age 8-10
A deeper dive into Minecraft coding and engineering. Students ages 8-10 use Redstone, command blocks, and in-game logic to build interactive systems and solve design challenges. They’ll learn real coding script that allows them to augment the in-game world.
A dynamic class that introduces students ages 8-10 to both Scratch and beginner-friendly Python. Students move between visual and text-based coding, building the thinking skills needed to make the jump to real-world programming.
A beginner-friendly class that teaches kids ages 8-10 how to use Roblox Studio to design, build, and publish simple 3D games. Students learn about game design, object placement, and basic programming.
Age 10-12
This class focuses on Minecraft as a coding platform. Students ages 10-12 use tools like MakeCode to automate builds, design logic puzzles, and modify the game environment.
A hands-on Python class where students ages 10-12 learn the foundations of coding by creating fun games, digital tools, and problem-solving scripts. Concepts include loops, variables, input/output, and more.
Students ages 10-12 learn to script with Lua in Roblox Studio, allowing them to create custom features and logic in multiplayer games. This is a coding-focused Roblox class for students with some experience.
Age 12+ Classes
A creative, project-based game development class where students ages 12+ build complete 2D and 3D games using beginner-friendly game development engines like Godot. Focus is on coding, design, and playability.
A coding class for intermediate programmers ages 12+ focusing on Python through real-world, project-based applications. Students learn to code playable games, interactive tools, and more.
This class introduces students ages 12+ to robotics using kits and simulators. They’ll build, wire, and program robots to complete tasks using sensors, motors, and code.
